We, the good men of the company Acron, doo, and our Office & More stationery stores and Bags & More haberdashery, give gifts to children from socially weaker families, even when the December holiday splendor is over.
Funds raised from the charity campaign We donated a Slovenian Caritas gift to a friend worth a total of € 9.000 in mid-January.
The Gift for a Friend charity campaign took place in November and December at 65 Office & More stationery stores and Bags & More haberdashery. During the pre-holiday period, we prepared a diverse set of ideas for gifting children and schoolchildren: toys, school supplies and children's backpacks. On behalf of each customer who purchased any of these gifts during the charity event, we donated one and the same product to charity. All gifts collected in this way were partially handed over to the diocesan Caritas in Novo mesto, Maribor, Murska Sobota, Ljubljana, Nova Gorica and Celje in December, and the rest in mid-January this year. Caritas will give them to children from socially weaker families on appropriate occasions. The total value of the collected gifts in the charity campaign reached an exceptional 9.000 euros! Gift deliveries were organized in Office & More branches in the mentioned places.
Erna Imamović, Head of Marketing and Public Relations of Acron, doo, thanked the customers who contributed a valuable share in the mosaic of the charity campaign Gift for a Friend: charity campaigns, as we want to make our employees and customers of our Office & More and Bags & More branches aware of the importance of solidarity and charity. These are the values on which we will continue to build in the future. The funds raised are donated to various charitable organizations and foundations of Slovenian primary schools. This is the second time we have cooperated with Caritas Slovenia, and very successfully. "
Jana Flajs from Slovenian Caritas thanked Acron, doo for the joint charity campaign Gift for a Friend and also for all donor customers. Caritas associates have already taken over the products at the outlets and will, as they point out, distribute them to children in need in the next few weeks across Slovenia.
