At the beginning of February, just before the Slovenian Cultural Day, representatives of Acron, doo, presented awards to numerous Slovenian elementary schools whose students were the winners of the creative-charity competition Rišem and Pišem for a friend.

In primary schools, cultural events were held on the day of culture. The students performed and paid homage to the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren. In addition to charity, our competition also encourages creativity, which is a necessary part of every cultural work and art in general. We were honored to have been able to present the awards of our competition at cultural events, thus highlighting the excellent achievements of schoolchildren. On this occasion, we also donated to the school funds of the finalists of the competition € 100 each, which will be used for the purchase of school supplies for socially disadvantaged children.

In the next few days, we will also visit the primary schools visited by the remaining winners and finalists of the competition. We look forward to meeting and shaking hands in recognition of the work well done, which has also been recognized by the public. The winning drawings, which will be printed on the cover of the school notebooks, were obtained by a public vote on Facebook.

More than 120 Slovenian primary schools took part in the competition, and we received 4200 drawings created on the theme of animals and 120 songs and thoughts about friendship. The winning products will be printed on the covers of school notebooks, which will be on sale from May onwards in 67 Office & More stationery stores and Bags & More haberdashery stores throughout Slovenia and in the online store www.officeandmore.si.

All proceeds from the sale of the notebooks will be donated to a charity, namely children who are in difficult social situations.
